Bridges and Dentures

Bridges: “Fixed dental prosthesis”, is a restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth. Permanent and cannot be removed.

Dentures: Artificial replacement for natural teeth and gums. Two types: partial and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when a few of the teeth are missing, complete dentures are used when all teeth are missing.
